What are Competencies?

Within WorkCompass, there are 3 areas that everyone has to specify that contribute to their performance management plan. Competencies are the second part, that you input after you’ve selected your Goals.

Once you have set up your Goals, you can identify the competencies that you have that can be used to complete your goals.
These can be skills that you have already mastered, and need to continuously apply to your role or they can be skills that but need to be worked on in order to perform to the best of your ability.

The Competencies generally comprise of a list that is provided by WorkCompass by default. However, if you or your manager believe that these competencies are not appropriate for you or could be updated, please let your local Administrator know.
