Purpose

HR admins need visibility into employee plan statuses to ensure effective performance management and alignment with organizational goals. By tracking the current status of plans, HR can proactively identify gaps, address overdue plans, and ensure timely approvals. This oversight helps maintain accountability among employees, fosters a culture of continuous development, and supports strategic workforce planning, ultimately driving organizational success.

Approach

WorkCompass provides the Status Report feature to assist HR admins in gaining a comprehensive view of each employee's performance plan status.

We believe that transparency in employee performance plans is essential for effective workforce management. By having real-time visibility into who needs a plan, who requires approval, and which plans are overdue or completed, HR admins can ensure that all employees are on track to meet their development goals.

The Status Report enables HR admins to identify potential bottlenecks in the performance management process, allowing for proactive engagement with employees and managers. By regularly reviewing plan statuses, organizations can foster accountability, encourage timely action, and enhance overall employee development efforts.

You can access the Status Report in Insights > Status Report to gain the necessary insights for maintaining alignment and driving performance across the organization.

Status Report

The Status Report offers a comprehensive overview of the current status of performance plans for all individual. It enables you to quickly identify which individual need a performance plan, those whose plans are pending approval, and those with overdue or completed plans.

The report categorizes performance plans as follows:

  • No Plan: Individuals who currently do not have a performance plan in place.

  • Needs Approval: Individuals with plans that are awaiting approval.

  • Approved: Individuals whose plans have been approved.

  • Overdue: Plans that have exceeded their due dates.

  • Completed: Plans that have been successfully finalized.

Only performance plans within the annual review cycle are included. For plans with a custom annual review cycle, you will need to select a custom date range (plan due date) using the Select Date Range option.

Export Data

The exported data includes detailed information for all staff members and their performance plans for the selected cycle, if applicable. It contains:

  • Individual Profile Information: Essential details about each employee.

  • Plan Due Date and Status: Information on when each plan is due and its current state.

  • Section Items: All relevant items outlined in the performance plan.

Only performance plans within the annual review cycle are included. For plans with a custom annual review cycle, you will need to select a custom date range (plan due date) using the Select Date Range option.

The exported historic data includes detailed information for all staff members and their performance plans since using the system. It contains:

  • Individual Profile Information: Essential details about each employee.

  • Plan Due Date and Status: Information on when each plan is due and its current state.
