Please note: If you use the ADP Connector or a People API you can reassign Managers from within your HRMS tool and these changes will be reflected in WorkCompass.
Who can change an Employee's Manager
Only Admins can change an Employee’s Manager.
If you have Employee authorization and need to be reassigned to another Manager, or if you have Manager authorization and need to reassign one of your direct reports, we recommend getting in touch with one of your organization's Admins.
How to change an Employee's Manager (Admins)
If you have Admin authorization you can change an Employee's Manager by following the steps below:
- Login to WorkCompass
- Click People at the top of the Home page.
- Search for the user via the Search bar.
- Click on the user’s name.
- Click Edit at the top right-hand corner of the page.
- Scroll down to Manager and select the new Manager from the drop-down menu.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.
